Micro Weddings

Micro weddings cover just a ceremony only, but that doesn't mean we can’t get lots of great photos! Since the restrictions of 2020/2021 I’ve seen a lot more micro weddings, but they’ve all been amazing! Many people also just want to have that simple, intimate ceremony with their partner and just a handful of loved ones.If you’re planning a small wedding, I’m available for reduced hours on selected dates - so please get in touch if you want a photographer to cover the important moments

Here’s what I offer as standard (though please get in touch for a bespoke quote, if you’re wanting a little more time);

  • 2 hours photography - usually plenty of time to cover a ceremony, some group shots and portraits of the two of you

  • Pre-wedding consultation to get to know you and how your wedding day is planned out - can be by Zoom, in person (when we’re allowed!) or just over email, whichever suits you best!

  • Natural, reportage style photographs - you and your guests can enjoy your day whilst I unobtrusively capture your wedding like a ninja!

  • 150+ images on a USB drive with all high resolution jpgs - with full license to use however you like

  • Online gallery - password-protected gallery to share with friends and family (if you wish!)

  • Travel for me within the South Yorkshire Area. I may ask a small fee for weddings which include larger amounts of travel

  • My promise that I will never make you pose awkwardly!

£595

Please get in touch if you’re interested, or you want to ask some more questions; I’d love to hear from you! I usually only shoot shorter days on selected dates, but please don’t hesitate to check my availability.

Ceremony

I’ll arrive around 30 minutes before the ceremony, to ensure I’m there on time, get some shots of the surroundings, and be there for your arrival. Even if it’s a Town Hall or something similar, I feel it’s important to have photos of all the details of your day! I’ll be present during the ceremony to capture the all important moment when you become married!

Group Photos

For the smaller weddings, I feel like group family photos become slightly more important. These are the small number of people you’ve hand selected to share your ceremony with. I’ll usually set 10 minutes aside just after the ceremony, grab the people we need and take the photos. I’m not fussed about lining up straight, or whether it’s hands behind back, or in front - as long as everyone is in the shot, and looking at the camera; it’s all good! The less ‘formal’ the better!

Portraits

Even with a smaller ceremony, you still want some great portraits of just the two of you! We need no longer than 15 minutes for you guys to have a little walk and grab a few photos. We can do this around the ceremony venue, or travel a little to somewhere more scenic if you’d like. I don’t like to pose; it feels awkward for you guys, and awkwardness doesn’t photograph well! I may tell you to walk, or stand in a certain place - but I really bounce off you as a couple, and want to capture you and your personalities whilst you enjoy those first moments of being married!
